KRS-One: Real Men Don't Exist in Mainstream Hip-Hop
http://www.vladtv.com - KRS-One dropped knowledge on the culture of Hip-Hop in this interview with Jonathan Gasana. He dove into the deep history that played a great role in the development of the internationally popular musical genre and cultural practice, dating back to the days of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. KRS explained how White America has always been in control of governing Black people's freedoms, and that even though Barack Obama is the current President of the United States, it wasn't Black people who got him voted into office. He also clarified the distinct difference between Black men and Black boys, who exist within the Hip Hop culture. According to KRS-One, there are no real men in mainstream Hip Hop, and that every rapper involved is only a man stuck in the mindframe of a "little boy." He credited the culture for being heavily influenced by women, and explained how 90% of the rappers who came up from 1981-1991, "The Golden Age of Hip Hop," were raised by single mothers. Do you agree with KRS-One's views on the lack of real "men" in mainstream Hip-Hop? Be sure to check out more videos from Jonathan Gasana's YouTube channel here.

I browsed on @timbaland via Instagram the other day. The question was about having a versuz battle between Chris Brown and Usher.
A number of people were for it. However, some people like me were like naaaaahhh! Because, Usher is just way too talented.
Because of that, I suggested Justin Timberlake battle Chris Brown, because to me, Chris Brown is neither R&B, nor Hip-Hop.
He is more of a funky pop person who crosses over. More like « what the fuck kind of new generation » genre is he type of dude.
As far as Justin Timberlake goes, he has had famous black producers produce his music, therefore putting out some good hits!
I’m sorry, but I feel that both of these dudes should battle. Chris dances pretty good, and this battle could bring some serious numbers.
On the other hand, there were blacks who got upset at my comments, talking about, « Stop giving away black culture! »
What the fuck ever! A lot of today’s music is downright shitty! That is why I listen to mainly ol’ school music right up until the early 2000’s.
One fact: music is universal and one of the main things that brings humans together in peace and harmony.
Other than that, I feel that Justin is should battle Chris Brown.
