It still boggles my mind even mentioning anything about politics, considering that I had relatives who were into politics/politicians. It just totally blows my mind. via: #probeatz

You know what? I was just thinking about something. While I was growing up, some people talked about campaign season with excitement. In fact, every four years during every campaign season, people used to be at least cordial while discussing politics and their favorite candidates. This is what I have observed throughout the years from childhood, until 1998. However, now it seems as if I have awakened or was born just yesterday!!π€―π€―π€―π€―: There seems to have been a shift in attitudes and emotions of numerous people now when discussing politics, politicians, and candidates. In fact, the air concerning such a topic feels a little dangerous!!! Is it me, or does it seem like the air has shifted to a dangerous and toxic fever pitch level since George Bush I and II took office. I do not blame these presidents for anything. However, I have noticed since they took office, it seems like right up until this very day, it seems like our very own work environment can become a little dangerous if we like who we like as a presidential candidate. Never in all of my years did I imagine that who you like can end up being a dangerous topic!!π€―π€―During the Reagan era, there were so many patriotic Americans. They were so into backing the current president back then. And, for those who were against Reagan being president, they said their grievances and life just went on. O.K. Fast forward to Obama. He was the first black president with visually brown skin to win as president. Although, it has been rumored that he was not actually the first black one. The rumors are that a few presidents were actually mulatto and/or had more than one drop of « black blood ». It has been rumored that President Lincoln was black and that was the true reason for his horrific murder. I had a family member who lived to be 120+ years old. And, she told some of my relatives about this. She also told things that are not in the American history books. She was a slave and became free under President Lincoln. Amazing. But, anywho, I will not ramble on. Now, about Obama: most black people like him because he won the presidency being a black man. And, that’s that. Now, moving onto the current President Donald Trump: G.A.D.D.A.M.N., people!! O.K. another white dude got back into office!! Some of you guys can’t stand him!! Some of us think he’s a pretty fuckin’ cool ass dude❣️❣️ Black folks already had their great black hope. Maybe not the right one, but Obama was visibly black. Trump is the « great white hope ». O.K. I said it. There. Anywho, dude used a great deal of his very own money to finance his own campaign. Wow!! Anywho, yes, dude is racist. Every single U.S. president was!! What’s new?! But, damn: why has the climate changed to dangerous regarding who we admire?π€Why is it now so controversial regarding who we like as presidential candidates? Oh, and one more thing: please do not hate those who choose not to vote. It is our right not to, just like it is our right to like who we like. It is just so sad that it has come down to this. Sincerely, Just me being me. Can I do that?, King-Galaxius Stravinskyππππ

Question of the Day
Why is the word « thriller » never a « thrill » when the word is used as a genre in a movie or elsewhere?
