Redhead Kingpin was known his party themed tracks. 'Pump It Hottie' and 'Do The Right Thing' which were his big hits appearing on his first album, A Shade of Red in 1989. Two years later, The Album With No Name was released in 1991, and he put out singles like, 'There is No Plan B', '3-2-1 Pump', 'Get It Together', and 'Its A Love Thing (Word)'. He went on to do production work for other hip-hop and RB artists throughout the 1990s, and he made a cameo appearance in the 1991 movie 'Strictly Business'. He was also a member of the group Private Investigators, who released the record, 'Mash Up The Mic' and an album in 1993
