For all of those who have and are working in hospitals: it is good to listen to your patients, especially if they are alert, oriented, and all of that ×3. Not everyone shows that they are in pain. If not, some verbalize pain that is a « 10 » on the pain scale, but are in good spirits and are not into crying vin pain like a bitch sometimes. I am not the kind of person who is into visiting a hospital all of the time, especially during these scary Corona times. Unfortunately, I have a tooth abscess. My lower face is so swollen that it looks like I stuffed my mouth with something to look like I’m portraying a mafia guy in a movie. This evening, I entered Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Irving, Texas, U.S.A. I informed the staff that my pain was a « 10 » when asked what my pain level is. I was released with nothing but a prescription for Peridex, Ibuprofen, and Augmentin. Here I am now at 1:56 A.M. with pain that radiates from my chest to my right shoulder, and scalp.
