Michael Jackson revolutionized the way we perceive music by redefining the music video into short films. Beat It, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Thriller and Ghosts went on to become the gold standard of music visuals. Michael Jackson also starred in The Wiz as the Scarecrow, and was in talks with famous director Steven Spielberg to star in a live-action film adaptation of Walt Disney's Peter Pan.
