Question of the Day
I have been pondering this question for quite some time.
Why would anyone de-fund the police?
Think about it. To me, that sounds as bad as trying to outlaw people the right to bear arms in order to protect themselves!
I asked this question, because if the police are de-funded, in the long run, won’t that make the police just as vulnerable as every American citizen when it comes to needing protection against crime?
I do not know about such matters. However, to me that means that when a regular citizen needs law enforcement, the security/protection is compromised in many ways. Also, in my opinion, this can mean a number of things. I think that this could mean less appropriate training for police officers, less patrolling of various dangerous areas where people depend on police presence /visibility, and all kinds of stuff.
To add, I feel that if the police are de-funded, we as American citizens may face situations like those Purge movies and worse in the future. Also, I feel that de-funding the police would put every American citizen in jeopardy whether they are in the police force or not. Additionally, if the police are de-funded, I feel that cops and regular citizens will all be running scared from pandemonium that will ensue from absolutely no one having any kind of safety. Which, in my opinion will cause the police to be like a basic security guard, or someone just dressed up in uniform without it being Halloween!
Again, this is just my take on things. Look at England and France! Because the police are not permitted to use guns, they have all of those bombings and shit! The people do not have guns, either! But, !A high terrorism rate! Scary! Very scary! via: #probeatz
